Not Your Mother’s Copywriter
Wheatley Copy House is a culmination of identity, discipline, and divestment from “best practices”. Call it going against the grain. Truth is, the wood was never ours to begin with.
We’re here to amplify voices that are used to whispering.
Black Boston has always known how to write itself into history. Phillis Wheatley made sure of that, and we're a continuation of what she started.
Wheatley Copy House dares you to say what you need to say. We're all ears.
The WCH Approach
-
We start by listening. No pitching, no assuming. You talk, we take note of everything: your voice, your quirks, the way you'd explain your business to a stranger at a party. It's less "client intake form" and more first date—we’re here to get to know you, not to fill in blanks.
-
Once we've soaked it all in, we hand it back to you, but sharpened. We mirror what we've heard, filtered through strategy and your goals, so you see your own story with new clarity. This is where raw material becomes direction.
-
From there, we build together. Drafts go back and forth, edges get sanded down, and the words get closer to exactly right. Not just polished, but unmistakably yours.
